Formed over millions of years, Fossil Coral is a remarkable gemstone born from ancient reefs transformed through time. As layers of sediment settled, mineral-rich waters replaced the original coral with silica and quartz—a process known as agatization—leaving behind intricate natural patterns that capture the beauty of the ocean’s history.
Design & Materials
This handcrafted set features 6mm round, polished Fossil Coral gemstones in warm natural tones of taupe, cream, and soft gray.
Necklace: Designed in segments of Fossil Coral beads strung on sterling silver pins, accented by antique silver flower caps. Each segment is separated by delicate sterling silver chain, creating movement and lightness. The necklace measures 39" and can be worn long or doubled for a layered look. A vintage-style magnetic clasp makes it easy to fasten and remove.
Bracelet: Composed of three interlinked strands of Fossil Coral beads, each capped and joined with sterling silver pins. The centerpiece is a 30mm mother-of-pearl flower clasp in soft rose-gray hues, framed in 18k white gold with a secure push-click closure. Designed to fit loosely at 8" in length for graceful drape and comfort.
