The Bedding Upgrade You Didn’t Know You Needed.

Let me start by saying that when it comes to diving down a rabbit hole of ideas, I’d challenge anyone to beat me. Once I get thinking about a topic, I can easily go off on tangents! So, to preserve my sanity (and stay focused), I’m sticking to something simple but essential: bedding. This could be one of those topics where a lot is said, but it all comes back to one thing: getting a good night’s sleep.
I’ve spent countless hours researching—and let’s be honest, way too much money—on finding the perfect sleep setup. After all, my bed is one of my favorite places in the world. I write in bed, snuggle in cozy blankets, and somehow end up with six king-sized pillows scattered across it. Let’s just say I enjoy being buried in comfort. But I’ve made my fair share of mistakes along the way, like assuming that more expensive means better. And while that’s true in some cases, when it comes to bedding, it’s all about the fabric and craftsmanship.
A side note: My bed itself is a grey tweed, but my bedding? All white. Comforter, sheets, pillows, shams—everything. It’s a clean, crisp look, and I’ve been happy with it. But recently, I started thinking about switching out my comforter. I was in the mood for something plush, something that felt like a fluffy cloud. You know, the kind of comforter you can just melt into.

I bought it from the distributor, gave it a test run, and instantly fell in love. The comforter is oversized, which means it drapes perfectly over the sides of my king-sized bed. It feels like sleeping on a cloud—soft, luxurious, and just the right amount of fluffy. And the shams? Absolute perfection. I stuffed them with down pillows, and I’ve never been more comfortable.

I had to add these to the shop not only because of how amazing they feel, but also because of the price. I just bought my mom a set, and I’m bringing it to her house this weekend. I’m confident she’s going to love it!
Next up for me? Finding the best sheets at a more affordable price—because let’s face it, the ones I’ve fallen in love with are ridiculously expensive. I have my favorites, but I’m on the lookout for better options. I’ll keep you posted!
