Celebrating one of the ocean's most beautiful treasures, Pua ʻākala brings together natural vintage pink coral, luminous sterling silver, and an artisan-made floral pendant in a one-of-a-kind Moku design.
 
The necklace is handcrafted with slender natural vintage pink coral tube beads, measuring approximately 10 x 3mm. Each is individually separated by a 3mm sterling silver round bead, creating a delicate rhythm of warm pink coral and cool silver.
 
As the necklace reaches the center, approximately 8mm round natural vintage pink coral beads create a beautiful transition, accented with sterling silver spacers.
 
At the heart of Pua ʻĀkala is an approximately 9mm sterling silver oval bail holding a striking artisan-made silver flower pendant, measuring approximately 57mm.
 
But the flower doesn't have to stay.
 
The pendant is removable, so you can wear the necklace simply on its own or replace the flower with another treasured charm or pendant that fits the bail. This small detail makes Pua ʻākala a little more personal to the person who wears it.
 
At each end, three sterling silver round beads transition into sterling silver wire guards that protect the silver satin cord. A sterling silver toggle clasp provides a beautiful finishing detail while making the necklace easy to put on and remove.
 
Measuring approximately 20.5 inches in length, Pua ʻākala is substantial enough to make a statement while keeping the remarkable natural character of the vintage coral at the center of the design.

The coral used in this necklace is authentic vintage coral—not newly harvested coral. Choosing existing vintage material allows us to appreciate the remarkable beauty and history of natural coral without creating new demand for coral harvesting.
 
Because this is genuine natural vintage material, variations in color, markings, shape, and surface character are part of its history and individual beauty, not imperfections.
