Let me start by saying—I don’t imagine everyone is waiting to hear what I have to say. But I do genuinely enjoy sharing. After stepping away from my executive corporate role, I found myself with a renewed energy for working, researching, writing, and connecting through ideas.

As the mornings grow cooler and our routines settle into autumn rhythm, there's something grounding about a bold, smoky brew. This month, our spotlight is on Cowboy Blend—a hearty, roast that’s both rugged and uplifting. And yes, its earthy aroma pairs well with our beloved Mocha—but this blog is all about celebrating the Cowboy.



Cowboy Blend – Bold as the Open Range


Cowboy Blend is expertly crafted by Temecula Coffee Roasters in Southern California. It’s a robust med‑dark roast composed of Latin American Arabica beans—typically Typica, Bourbon, and Caturra—grown at elevations between 900–1,700 meters in clay and mineral-rich soils. These mountains produce beans with depth and clarity, and Temecula’s blend brings out cocoa, caramel, and vanilla notes in a luxe, smoky profile.

  • Deep, rustic roast with rich, smoky undertones.

  • Notes of cocoa, caramel, and just a touch of vanilla—complex, not cloying.

  • Enough strength to power morning routines and rugged enough to evoke fireside mornings.


Our Favorite Ways to Enjoy Cowboy Coffee

  • Strong & Black – Unfiltered survival in a cup.

  • Splash of Cream – Soften the fire.

  • Campfire-Style – Brew strong; serve in tin—under the stars.

  • Iced Cowboy – Bold cold brew for warmer mornings.

  • Cowboy Latte – Milk + honey = smooth ride.

  • Trail Brew – Keep it in your thermos; fuel your steps.


Recipe: Classic Campfire Cowboy Coffee

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Cowboy Blend (coarse grind)

  • 10 oz hot water (just off boil)

  • Optional: cream or honey

How to Make:

  1. Heat water until just off the boil.

  2. Brew with a French press, pour-over, or drip.

  3. Pour into your favorite mug—or tin mug if you’re channeling your inner cowboy.

  4. Drink it bold, or smooth it with cream or honey for a softer edge.
