For more than five centuries, artisans in the historic region of Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic, have been creating some of the world's most admired decorative glass. Travel across the world to Japan, and you'll discover another extraordinary glassmaking tradition.
Founded in 1949, Miyuki has earned a worldwide reputation for producing some of the finest seed beads available today. While these tiny beads may appear simple, their remarkable consistency is the result of exceptional precision and decades of innovation.
Unlike many mass-produced seed beads, Miyuki beads are celebrated for their nearly identical size, shape, and finish. That precision allows artisans to create beautifully balanced designs, smooth curves, and intricate patterns that simply aren't possible with less uniform beads.
We especially love Miyuki's rich color palettes and specialty finishes—from soft matte ocean blues and metallic silvers to earthy Picasso tones that echo the natural world.
